In the heart of the
Wild Frontier you will find
Maroela Chalets. This delightful, three star
graded, thatched self-catering accommodation is situated
in a 3000 HA reserve adjoining the southern border of
the famous Kruger National Park.
Each unit features its own private deck, fully equipped
kitchen, air cons, fans, a braai area and splash-pool to
cool off while enjoying spectacular bird, plant and
animal life
.After a game drive or viewing a stunning
sunset across the Crocodile river, settle in and watch
evening fall in beautiful bushveld surroundings, while a
fire and friends keep you company, or alternatively,
visit one of the local restaurants for a full course
meal.
Wake up by the calls of the wild and spend a wonderful
day game viewing either in the Park or in our private
game reserve, Lion Spruit, where you may spot lion,
rhino, buffalo and many antelope species.
Use Maroela Chalets as your springboard to visit the
famous Kruger National Park, Lowveld Escarpment, a day
trip to Swaziland or the beautiful beaches of
Mozambique. For the adventurous enjoy an elephant ride
or quad biking in the mountains.
Accommodation
Chalet 1
Sleeps 6 (4 adults & 2 children). Double story with 2
bedrooms upstairs, one with double bed and the other
with 2 single beds. Bunker beds in lounge/kitchen. One
and a half bathrooms.
Chalets 2 & 3
Sleeps 4. Two bedrooms with 2 built-in single beds each.
Two bathrooms one en-suite. Fully equipped kitchen.
Chalet 4
Sleeps 2. This is our honeymoon suite. One bedroom with
double bed. Bathroom, kitchen and lounge.
