Amanzi Mountain Reserve

Description:

Situated on 1800 hectares of Mountain Reserve, nestled in the idyllic Elephant River Conservatory area of Mpumalanga. It is a remarkable resort in a valley surrounded by gorges, typical of majestic Mpumalanga.

This Resort is split into two camps, the four star Leopard’s view and the three star Hunter’s Creek (self-catering) , both catering for guests individual needs.

This reserve boasts zebra, a large variety of antelope, warthogs and more. Four x 4 routes and game drives & hiking trails are also on offer.

The most spectacular lookout point on the Retreat overlooks the Loskop Dam and is perfect for viewing fantastic sunrises and sunsets.

Amanzi Mountain Reserve offers privacy in splendid surroundings - the ideal location for corporate executives who need a peaceful and quiet location.

Although the road is fairly well maintained, the last 800m are rough and would best be undertaken in a vehicle with high road clearance.

Leopard's View
This camp offers four full board chalets and individual bedrooms with tea/coffee making facilities, overlooking the breathtaking beauty of the valley.

All chalets vary in style, and some include unique facilities such as an outside shower or a shower between rocks and foliage.

Cool down in the natural rock pool with fresh mountain water on a hot summer's day or keep warm in front of the restaurant’s fireplace during the cold winters – a truly romantic setting.

Two bedrooms with a double bed in 1st bedroom and two single beds in the 2nd bedroom. Bathroom with a shower. Living room & small kitchenette with tea/coffee making facilities.
