Description:
Bushveld Executive Lodge - is situated 4km out of Nelspruit, Capital
of Mpumalanga, on the Kaapsehoop / Airport Road, in an amazing
horseshoe formation of the meandering Gladdespruit River. All the
fully equipped Chalets have thatched wooden verandas facing the
river, with unbelievable bush and bird life and an occasional
visiting hippo.
Bushveld Executive Lodge - with its luxurious 13 bedrooms. An
amazing hand worked double story construction. Rustic, but finished
off with taste and perfection, radiating the smell of Africa. The
ideal place to unwind, away from the concrete jungle.
The Western Chalets with their wooden decks facing the river and the
spectacular Lowveld sunsets, also favours the visitor with an
outdoor Barbeque to enjoy a perfect Lowveld evening of rest and
peace with delicious food on an open fire.
The V.I.P or Honeymoon Room - Projecting above the entrance, is a
unique creation with a once-in-a-lifetime atmosphere. The large
thatch roof veranda overlooks the centre of the whole lodge with
it's beautiful Sub-tropical gardens saturated with the calm silence
of Country life.
The 4 and 6 bed chalets on the western side of Bushveld Lodge.
Parking in front of the chalet, the visitor steps out into the calm
of cool green lawns surrounded by fragrant flowers and whispering
shady trees.
All the Guesthouse Bedrooms are furnished with hand made furniture,
rustic, ethnic and professionally neat. Each fully equipped room has
a private veranda with table and overlooks the river with it's
unique dense riverine vegetation of the Lowveld bush. This is the
place to unwind!!
The Western social area of the sparkling swimming pool is surrounded
by green shady thorn trees to comfort the relaxing holiday maker.
The poultry life at Bushveld Lodge, has always complimented the
success of relaxation and tranquillity. The call of the guinea-fowl,
a rooster crowing at dawn, geese in pleasant social "talk", and the
laughter and fun at feeding time - this you cannot buy in a City
Supermarket!!!
