On the banks of the Loskop Dam on the Olifants River, 44km north of Middelburg lies this Eco Resort, surrounded by the Waterberg Mountain range and a nature reserve which is home to white rhino, leopard, crocodile and hippo.

Game viewing by boat, reminiscent of the great lakes of Africa, makes this Resort unique.

A heated pool, excellent angling opportunities, abseiling, game drives, tennis, volleyball, restaurant and conference facilities combine to make this one of the most popular Resorts

Wildlife
There are close to 70 species of mammals on the reserve including 3 of the 'Big Five', namely; White Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. Oribi, White Rhino, Buffalo and Sable Antelope enjoy special protection.

Hippo, giraffe, warthog, many more buck and other wildlife abound in the Reserve.

The Dam area is a bird watchers’ paradise where you will find the majestic fish eagle along with several other species of eagle and countless other birds flourishing in the natural surroundings.

Angling is a popular activity and sought after species in the dam include carp, red breasted bream, blue breasted bream, sharptooth catfish, eels, yellow fish, mudfish and many more.
