rondavels and a luxury double storey self-catering
guesthouse for larger groups.
Bananien Lodge is situated on the Panorama Route, 7km
from the CBD of Sabie on the Hazyview (R536) road
adjacent to the Sabie River. Nestling in scenic and
indigenous bush and waterfalls it has the combined
comfort and natural surroundings to create a retreat of
tranquillity in a malaria free area. For an experience

National Park, God’s Window, Pilgrim’s Rest and other

Accommodation:
Come and enjoy our hospitality while you relax and cool
off with a sundowners on the wooden deck of your log
cabin. Take time to enjoy the leisurely and peaceful
ambience of poolside relaxation with splash pool for
toddlers surrounded by the soothing sounds of the
waterfall.
The Log Cabins
6 thatched roof log cabins and one thatched roof
rondawel equipped and serviced with ceiling fans,
bedding, cutlery, crockery, dish towels, cooking
utensils, aprons, fridge, kettle, toaster, hotplate
stove and braai area. Please bring own swimming towels
Bananien Lodge is a perfect base from which to explore
all the major attractions of the Mpumalanga region.
These luxury self-catering, thatched roof log cabins and
rondawels, sleep one to four persons each and have a
private braai area to retreat away from reality!
Self-catering Guest House
One self-catering double storey guest house fully
equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, lounge and sleeps four
to eight people. Built in braai area.

• Malieveld Hiking Trail, quad cars on hire and swimming
pool.

Tours:
Our guides are THETA (Tourism, Hospitality Education
Training Authority) accredited, registered tourist guide
and will accompany each tour group. Our guides are
highly qualified and experienced in both guiding and
managing of tours and carry a relevant PDP (Public
Drivers Permit). All travel will take place in a luxury
8 seater air-conditioned kombi which carries a
Certificate of Fitness and Road Transport permit.

International Airport (Johannesburg International
Airport and KMIA Airport (Kruger Mpumalanga
International Airport) close to Nelspruit Capital of
Mpumalanga. Bananien Lodge is the ideal base from which
all tours may commence.
