With the White River flowing at the bottom of the lush garden, Kirby Country Lodge is the perfect base from which to tour beautiful Mpumalanga. With its majestic forests and landscapes and sub-tropical vegetation, this is the place for an relaxing and idyllic holiday.

Kirby Country Lodge is owned by a Swiss family. You are welcome in English, German and French. Kirby Country Lodge is situated outside of the town of White River. In the Garden of Kirby Lodge you can watch an abundant variety of bird life.

Return to the Kirby Country Lodge after a busy day exploring and sightseeing and relax at the pool or take a stroll through the gardens. Enjoy some ice cold drinks by the pool, on the patio or in the tastefully decorated Ladies Bar / Lounge area, offering a fireplace for the cool winter evenings as well as small library for our guests use.

Kirby Country Lodge offers a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere it is the ideal place for workshops, theatres, and therapies, for groups of +- 20 people. Families with children are welcome

At Kirby Country Lodge, you’re almost on the doorstep of the world famous Kruger National Park. A scenic drive through beautiful forest and fruit plantations will take you to Numbi Gate at Kruger Park, where a day’s game viewing is sure to be a memorable one.

Horse riding, mountain bike trails, hiking trails, golf, bowls and bird watching are available nearby. Explore the unspoilt beauty of Mpumalanga with its many breathtaking views, sights and historic landmarks.
